my this is lovely...believe it or not, this is probably my top 5 favorite passages/stories in the bible. Elijah and his journey has always inspired me, and how God took such good care of him. it always fascinates me that God used a 'raven' to bring him food, and to nurture him thru his tough time. i am so happy i found your blog and your work is so inspiring. i have enjoyed your blog very much and i am off to visit more on your flickr :)

this is so gorgeous! amazing! reminds me a bit of a watercolor + encaustic piece some dear friends made for our wedding. it was entitled "provision", and also was made from the passage in 1 kings, with ravens & bread. your work is beautiful & inspiring to my soul.
