Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!
Image from The New York Public Library archives.
This is what usually happens when I take a pen to the local diner
and they take a little too long to bring out my breakfast :)
My chilaquiles verdes were perfect though, so it was well worth the wait.
Happy 4th of July!!!

I love your creative art spirit Geninne, so inspirational. If I take you to breakfast will you make me a drawing while we wait?

you're either a very quick drawer or service was quite slow, but the food did sound worth the wait!

Haha. This is what we artists do right? The ability to entertain ourselves with a pen and paper. ;)

Wouldn't it be awesome if the restaurant/coffee shop kept all the placemats that have something written or sketched on them and then display them? I'd pay to see that :)

We just got back from the lake here in NE Oklahoma. I picked up rocks with you in mind, Geninne. Want to try some acrylic ink designs on them.

Thanks for the 4th of July wishes.....

Your knotless netting is lovely. I have seen it before done with flexible wire covered in different colors - look in your electrical supply store.

Happy creating.

It's beautiful! Now my craving for chilaquiles has intensified! Where's my sister in law when I need her? Hers are the best.
