Golden Orange
1- New stone I painted with FW Pearlescent white
liquid acrylic from Daler Rowney which is very hard to photograph.
2- My sweet husband Manolo's gift for my birthday was this beautiful flat file cabinet.
When he organized his studio downstairs he took his beloved old flat file with him
and I was left with no place to keep my large sheets of paper
so he had this one made specially for my studio :)
The wonderful wood veneer lamp and plant pot cover are from Bookhou.
3- The hills are alive and covered in tiny specks of golden orange!
Which is why I ♥ this time of year.
4- Wild golden daisies are everywhere.

I bought some of that paint you recommended and have been trying my hand at the rocks. My rocks are not as smooth and symmetrical as yours. Where do you get the rocks?

what a beautiful birthday present! a royal place for your paintings. Have a nice weekend, Geninne....
Oh, that flat file is STUNNING. Well matched to your artwork :)
A late happy birthday to you too!
I just bought a triangle bag from Bookhou, and I love it.
Your painted stone shimmers in the most magical way...
Gennine, your pictures are so wonderful!
They make me long for the days when I have a house of my own and a husband to gift me flat file cabinets, and time on my hands to do things like serenely paint stones and take pictures of daisies. One of these days you'll have to document a bad day just so my expectations of life don't get too high!
Thanks for another post that made me feel warm and fuzzy about life.
I just looked at your photos of your first 2 hours, both gorgeous. Wow, I would find it very hard to leave any of your homes. Your husband is very talented and has made the world a prettier place with all these houses.
Geninne, I love the images you share with us everyday. The flat files are a beautiful birthday gift and I love the colors of fall and your "pearly" stone.
Oh my, all these talented people under one roof! Your husband's gift is amazingly beautiful!
I love your painted stone....they ar so lovely....
Golden yellow is one of my favorite colors. It is joyful and warm, and my house is full of it. love, Beth
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
Geninne, perdón! No te he saludado por tu cumpleaños. Veo que te llegó repleta de trabajos y proyectos. Muchas felicidades... Qué grandes están tus niños! Envíale un saludo especial a Daniel... siempre tengo aquí sus pajaritos que no se animan a salir del nido... un abrazo grande!
The flat file cabinet is almost as beautiful as the story behind the original flat file cabinet! Thanks for sharing, you're an inspiration to us all at Freedom Clothing Collective!!

I can't keep myself from the orange either lately... but mines sort of a peachy sweet orange.
Love the new stone. :)
Oh, flat-file envy! I simply must find a way to get my huge flat-file/computer table out of the garage and into the studio. LOVE the daisies. = )
Love the flowers panting on the rock, very pretty. I love it!
you are very good at making little things make beautiful. so nice to look at your post.
