Paper Weights
Freshly painted rocks to keep papers from flying away in my studio.
The weather is warmer and I love keeping the windows open
to let in the fresh breeze. I used acrylic inks and a liner brush.

Absolutely beautiful! Love the stone with the fox and bird. And the flower! :)
Really beautiful painted stones. There are so many wonderful quotes by Einstein. He was quite a guy.
Hi Geninne, beautiful stones. My favorite is the oriental poppy. The flower shines so beautifully intense.
Love Einstein's phrase!
Gorgeous stones! :-)
Beautiful - how do you get those white lines so teeny tiny?
You're absolutely right! I like the transparent petals of your red poppy, on the almost perfect round pebble...
the poppy one makes my heart go pitter patter. will it be in your etsy shop soon?
Just lovely, Geninne! Were your ears burning yesterday? I was talking about you and your blog with a friend yesterday. Just talking about the beauty and inspiring quality of your work. That is always makes me feel a little calmer and more peaceful after perusing your posts. Such a nice gift. Thank you. :)
Beautiful as always! Thank you for being such an inspiration and raw talent. Adore you!

Hermosas, me encantan!
These are so lovely and unique. I love the hare one especially =) x
They're really beautiful Geninne. :) I made a painting on a pebble once when I was really young. I wonder if my mum still has it?
I love pebbles.

beautifull! I especially like the one with the poppy!
I agree with everyone: these are beautiful, but especially the one with the poppy. In fact, did you know that growing up my sister and I called our Dad "Poppy"? We still do! I guess, depending on what accent we used, it also sounded like "Papi"

I used to always paint rocks and pebbles when I was little but they were just very simply painted in one colour. I never thought of making little paintings on them. Yours look so amazing! I'm sure they look just as great holding the paper from flying away!
Hermosas todas, la primera me parece maravillosa!!!
Besos ♥
Geninne-Of course, if anyone can make a plain rock beautiful it would be you :O)Love the flower!
These are fabulous. I love the colors and detail. The fox and bird are super cute and love the quote. Precious!!! Thanks for sharing. Jeanette

Fab pebbles.Really nice designs.Lovely blog.
Do you want do illustration for this Jean de la fontaine's fable "the crow and the fox"?, i'm not sûre, because i don't see the tortle whis this hare....
Ah the poppy! How I love those white details.
I love them all! Now I want to go out and try to find paintable stones, not that mine would look this good.
I love the artwork on the stones...wow...what a concept and what superb execution.I have not come across something so beautiful.
Love those teeny tiny details, so where did the stones come from? No babbling brooks or rushing rivers in these parts.
Such a steady hand!!! I am jealous!
these are so beautiful...
I love these blues! What beautiful gifts these would make as paperweights! Your work is absolutely gorgeous!
It seems that I am not the first cat (my name is Cat - Catherine) to love your little birds and the company they keep. Your work is sweet, loving, inspiring, incredible and so many more words... I found you on Etsy and followed you here. Thank you for sharing all your lovely images and creations with us and for offering inspiration. To see you work just gives me a happy feeling...like sunshine on a cold, gray day...it pulls me up and carries me into the light; high above the earth and away from the everyday world; allowing me to see everything differently, even the things I already know so well...you shine a light on them and make them gold. Bravo and thank you for that!
