Arrows

Bowl of Arrows
Arrows
Five Arrows
I took a break from drawing this afternoon and painted myself a bowlful of arrows with my trusty acrylic inks on smooth river stones. I used gold acrylic paint for the arrowheads.

These are so pretty! I've never heard of acrylic inks before. What did you use to paint them with? A small paint brush?

the arrows fit on the rocks perfectly. i like how the concept of arrows is distantly related to the concept of birds, too

Sometimes people find arrowheads around the U.S. from long ago, and I am imagining somebody finding one of your arrow rocks many years from now, and wondering about who made it. :) (When I find an arrowhead, I always wonder about the person who used it.)

Bonjour Geninne,
I am your new reader from Quebec.
Your blog is always the first thing I visit every day and I LOVE everything you do.
I was wondering if you have ever considered doing astrological birdies, they would make great birthday gifts.
I hope your day is filled with many moments of joy
Bonne journée
Manon
