I love the weekly markets! This is the last weekend for my neighborhood farmer's market. I'll have to travel a little further during the winter for the freshest goods.
It's really colorful. I can just imagine how much you look forward to your mornings spent at the market.
The bottom picture on the right of the blue corn tortillas(viewer's right) almost looks like some sort of clay to me. I've never had those. I can imagine that it attracts lots of patrons who have never seen it before.
I enjoy getting deals at the market but I don't always like walking through, especially after it's been raining. However, maybe you don't have that problem at your location
;-)

Montreal has a few lovely markets that we don't get to enough. But they don't have quite the exotic colours that yours does. I love these photos. They are like a fantastic quilt.
fantastic looking market! never heard of blue corn tortillas but they look exciting!
love seeing these and the blue corn tortillas. Once I did a painting with blue corn in it and the judge said there was no such thing as blue corn. so she exnayed the painting. She showed her ignorance there. so much for judges. The veggies and fruit look awesome. xoxoox

wow! I live in a Seattle neighborhood (Ballard) known for it's great farmers market but yours has me drooling! those of us who have access to such wonderful fresh produce and delicious food are truly lucky and I count my blessings every Sunday I can get to mine. :)
This is a real feast for the eyes and, I think, for the palate as well!

Look at those gorgeous squash blossoms! Yum. I wish there were mercados like this in Alubquerque. I miss all the Chinese and Mexican markets from back home in San Francisco.
